Small sunflower with bee taken at Cedar Key, Florida
A board that had floated to shore in Tampa Bay
On my way home from St. Petersburg last week I saw this hawk sitting on the power line. I stopped, walked back, he sat there all the while, I took the picture and then he flew away.
One of our typical beautiful December Florida Sunsets from Indian Rocks Beach
Beautiful egret walking in the surf on Indian Rocks Beach, FL

I was invited to show and sell my photography at the Phaze Gallery, 158 - 198 West Bay Drive in Largo, Florida. This is a picture taken on Dec 8, 2007 at the Grand Opening of my exhibit by my friend Donna. The pictures had been up for a few days. A lot of people from work, church, and other friends came thru and made the exhibit a grand success. Sold a lot of pictures that day and to be truthful hope to sell a lot more. If you are in Largo please take the time to tour Phaze Gallary. They have a lot of stuff in there, not only my photographs, but antiques, other forms of art work, in short, just about anything you can imagine.

The pictures below were taken during the time period Dec. 8 to 13, 2007. I am not sure what exact days . The first if a sea bird walking along the shore at Indian Rocks Beach
And the next 2 are the sunset at Indian Rocks Beach, Florida

This is another Sunset Picture the same night, another 30 seconds and the sun was gone.
I was coming back from St. Petersburg yesterday (Dec. 14) and saw this hawk sitting on the power line. It really surprised me that he sat there long enough for me to get off the highway and back to where he was sitting and then pose for me so nicely.

December 1, 2007, Largo Central Park. On the first full weekend of each month the Largo Central Railroad runs their trains and gives people rides. The picture below is the Largo Christmas Tree.
This is one of the steam locomotives of the Largo Central Railroad and the picture below is a picture of the inside of the engine where the coal is put into the firebox. That picture has been enhanced so I could get more detail. The man sitting on the coal car said that this locomotive weighed about 400 lbs and with the coal and water he was carrying that it got up to about 500 lbs. It will pull about 3 to 4 cars with people riding, about 12 to 15 people.
This is the other steam locomotive that was running at the park on Dec. 1.
